The President Visits Mahatma Gandhi Institute in Mauritius

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil visited the Mahatma Gandhi Institute in Mauritius on April 28, 2011 during her 5 day State Visit to that nation. The President also offered her floral tributes at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi which is in the premises of the institute. Mahatma Gandhi Institute, in a letter to President, described the President's Visit as a momentuous event.
