The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has greeted her fellow citizens on the occasion of Idu'l Fitr.
In her message the President has said, "On the auspicious occasion of Idu'l Fitr, it is my immense pleasure in offering 'Id Mubarak' to all our people in India and abroad.
Idu'l Fitr brings joy and happiness on the culmination of the month of Holy Ramzan, a period of fasting, prayer and charity. May this festival strengthen mutual goodwill and inspire each one of us to follow the path of love, friendship and harmony".
