The President, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, has condoled the demise of Shri Ramrao Wamanrao Adik. In a condolence message to his brother Shri Govindrao Adik, the President has said, "I am saddened to learn about the passing away of Shri Ramrao Wamanrao Adik.
Shri Ramrao Adik was closely associated with various social and educational institutions and held important positions in the State Government including those of Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra in his long public career".
