PRESIDENT ACCEPTS RESIGNATIONS OF ANBUMANI RAMADOSS AND R. VELU AND DIRECTS PANABAKA LAKSHMI TO LOOK AFTER THE WORK OF MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE

The President of India, as advised by the Prime Minister, has accepted the resignations of Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss, Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Shri R. Velu, Minister of State in the Ministry of Railways, from the Council of Ministers, with immediate effect, under clause (2) of Article 75 of the Constitution of India.

Further, as advised by the Prime Minister of India, the President of India directs that the work of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare will be looked after by Smt. Panabaka Lakshmi as Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
