The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh called on the President Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The Prime Minister greeted the President on the occasion of Diwali. They discussed recent national and international developments including the Prime Minister's visits to Japan for the annual Summit Meeting of the Prime Ministers of India and Japan as well as to Beijing for the 7th ASEM Summit. The meeting lasted for about 30 minutes.
