PRIME MINISTER CALLS ON PRESIDENT

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh called on the President Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The meeting lasted for about 40 minutes. The two leaders discussed the just concluded Budget Session of the Parliament, the state of the economy and the political situation. The Prime Minister also briefed the President about his forthcoming visit to Myanmar, beginning tomorrow.
