PRESIDENT OF INDIA CONDOLES PASSING AWAY OF CAPTAIN LAKSHMI SAHGAL

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has condoled the passing away of Captain Lakshmi Sahgal.

In her condolence message, the President has said, "Captain Lakshmi Sahgal's work in the Indian National Army was exemplary and her contribution to public service was recognized through the Padma Vibhushan award in 1998. In her passing away, the nation has lost a great patriot".
