The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has greeted fellow citizens on the occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti, which will be celebrated tomorrow. In a message, the President has said,

Ravidasji led a life of faith and devotion and dedicated himself to the cause of the poor irrespective of cast, creed and religion. His philosophy of service and his commitment to create a caring society is relevant even today.
