GOVERNOR OF BIHAR GETS ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF WEST BENGAL

The five year term of Shri Gopalkrishna Gandhi as Governor of West Bengal will expire on 13 December, 2009. The President of India has appointed Shri Devanand Konwar, Governor of Bihar, to discharge the functions of the Governor of West Bengal with effect from 14 December, 2009, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements are made.
