GOVERNOR OF TAMIL NADU GETS ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF PUDUCHERRY

Consequent upon the demise of Shri Govind Singh Gurjar, Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry, the President of India has appointed Shri Surjit Singh Barnala, Governor of Tamil Nadu, as Administrator of the Union Territory of Puducherry in addition to his duties as Governor of Tamil Nadu, till alternative arrangements are made.
