PRESIDENT ACCEPTS RESIGNATION OF MAHARASHTRA GOVERNOR

The President of India has accepted the resignation of Shri S.M. Krishna as Governor of Maharashtra and has appointed Shri S.C. Jamir, Governor of Goa to discharge the functions of the Governor of Maharashtra in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Governor of Maharashtra are made.
