The President of India, as advised by the Prime Minister of India, accepted the resignation of Shri Oscar Fernandes, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, from the Council of Ministers, with immediate effect.
Further, as advised by the Prime Minister of India, the President of India directs that Shri G.K. Vasan, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation is assigned the additional charge of the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
